1. Who We Are

Fetch Focus Flourish provides dog training and behavior consulting in Whatcom County, Washington. This policy explains how I collect and use information when you visit my website, contact me, or use my services.

2. What Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with my business, I collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, and home or service address.

• Information about your dog, including behavior history, intake responses, training goals, and progress.

• Bite descriptions relevant to assessing behavior and planning services.

• Photos and videos you provide for assessment, coaching, or documenting training.

• Messages, appointment information, agreements, invoices, and payment status.

• Information submitted through website forms, such as an email address when requesting a guide.

Please do not include the identity of a person bitten, human medical records, or unnecessary personal information about other people.

The website also collects technical and usage information, as explained in the cookies section below.

3. How We Use Your Data

I use information to respond to inquiries, assess service fit, prepare training plans, provide coaching, coordinate appointments, deliver requested resources, and manage billing and client records. Relevant records may also be used to meet legal obligations or address disputes and claims.

Photos, videos, and testimonials

Providing material for training does not automatically authorize public use. I obtain separate, optional permission before publishing your photos, videos, or testimonials on my website, social media, or other promotional materials. Declining permission does not affect your access to services.

You can contact me to withdraw permission for future use or request removal from channels I control. I cannot guarantee removal of copies other people have saved or shared.

Optional marketing

If I offer newsletters or marketing texts, each will have a separate, optional signup. Booking services, requesting a guide, or providing contact details will not automatically enroll you in ongoing marketing.

You can unsubscribe using the instructions in those messages or by contacting me. You may still receive communications needed to manage appointments, billing, or services you requested.

Keeping records

I retain information according to its purpose, including ongoing services, follow-up support, billing, and applicable legal, insurance, or claims-related needs. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, it will be deleted or de-identified, subject to applicable requirements and the deletion processes of the systems holding it.

4. Third-party Services and Record Sharing

My website is hosted by Squarespace, and website forms may process information through its services. I use PlayFetch.io for linked inquiry and intake forms, payments, and client records.

These providers process information needed to deliver their services. When you follow an external form, booking, or payment link, review the notices provided there as well as this policy. Information about Squarespace’s processing is available in its Privacy Policy.

Before sharing your client records with a veterinarian or another trainer, I obtain written permission naming the professional and the information to be shared. I share only information relevant to the purpose you authorize.

I may also disclose information where legally required, such as in response to a valid legal demand. Permission to share records professionally is separate from permission to use your material publicly.

5. Cookies and Website Information

This website uses Squarespace functionality and analytics. Squarespace receives information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, referring pages, and interactions with the website, as described in its Privacy Policy.

Cookies used by the site include:

• crumb: Helps protect against cross-site request forgery.

• ss_cvr and ss_cvt: Help distinguish visitors and track visits and sessions.

These purposes are described in Squarespace’s cookie documentation. Other necessary cookies may be used when you interact with particular features.

At the date of this policy, the site does not display a cookie-consent banner, and Squarespace analytics cookies may be placed when you visit. You can review, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may affect website features, as explained in Squarespace’s guidance.

Pages with signup forms also use Google reCAPTCHA for spam and abuse prevention. This service processes technical information associated with security checks and may set a security cookie, as explained in Google’s reCAPTCHA guidance.

If I add advertising trackers or change the website’s tracking practices, I will update this policy and provide any notices and choices required by applicable law.

6. Your Privacy Choices and Requests

You can contact sara@fetchfocustraining.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information I hold about you. You can also ask about a permission you have given or withdraw permission for future optional uses.

I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. I will explain any limitations, including where records must be retained for legal reasons or a request would affect another person’s privacy. Any additional rights provided by applicable law remain available to you.

7. Changes to this Policy

I may update this policy when my services, tools, or information practices change. The date at the top will show when the latest version was updated.
