Walk & Train Track

Trainer-handled, real-world behavior work — where your dog actually lives

With Walk & Train, I do the training in the real-world environments where your dog struggles most, while you observe, learn, and practice at home. It's hands-on behavior change built for reactivity, fear, frustration, and everyday challenges — one real walk at a time.

Dog trainer assessing a reactive dog in a safe, supportive environment.

How It Works

Every Walk & Train journey begins with a Training Consultation ($135), where I map your dog's triggers, review their history, and confirm the right program. You don't choose — I place your dog in the program that fits their needs.

Training Consultation — $135 · 75–90 min, in-person

A comprehensive assessment with trigger mapping, a real-world behavior review, and a written summary emailed within 48 hours. Required before all Walk & Train programs. This is where program placement is confirmed.

The Programs

Walk & Train Real World Reset — $725

6 training walks · 1x per week · 6 weeks · 60–90 min each ($120.83/walk)

A six-week, trainer-led program for dogs who need real-world structure for everyday behavior challenges and mild-to-moderate reactivity. Sessions are fully customized to your goals — walking calmly past other dogs, a reliable recall, navigating a vet visit, or building confidence in public.

What we work on: on-leash reactivity toward dogs or people · high prey drive · loose-leash walking · recall in real environments · leash frustration and barrier arousal · fear in public settings · everyday manners and impulse control

Every session includes:

  • 60–90 minute trainer-handled session in your dog's real-world environment

  • Systematic threshold mapping, desensitization, and counter-conditioning

  • Written progress notes emailed after every walk

  • Personalized homework tailored to your dog's triggers

  • Between-session trainer support for questions and urgent concerns

  • Graduation assessment at session 6 with a written transition plan

Best fit if your dog: reacts to triggers but can recover, take food, and re-engage within a reasonable distance · has mild-to-moderate reactivity · pulls, lunges, or disengages on leash · struggles with vet visits or public outings · needs adventure-based confidence-building

Program placement is confirmed at your Training Consultation.

Walk & Train Intensive Reset — $1,195

12 training walks · 2x per week · 6 weeks · 60–90 min each ($99.58/walk)

A higher-frequency, six-week program for dogs with moderate-to-severe reactivity, an aggression history, complex fear, or dogs who've struggled in previous training. Working twice a week builds consistent momentum across the behaviors and settings that matter most to your family.

What we work on: moderate-to-severe reactivity toward dogs or people · aggression history · intense prey drive requiring structured management · loose-leash walking in high-distraction settings · recall for dogs with strong flight or chase responses · complex fear and shutdown behaviors · dogs who've failed previous approaches

Every session includes:

  • 60–90 minute trainer-handled session in real-world environments

  • Intensive desensitization and counter-conditioning across multiple settings

  • Written progress notes emailed after every session

  • Personalized homework tailored to current progress

  • Week 3 mid-program behavior review with an updated plan

  • Between-session trainer support for management questions and urgent concerns

  • Graduation assessment at session 12 with a written transition plan

Best fit if your dog: goes over threshold quickly and struggles to recover · has a bite history or has shown aggression · can't pass common triggers without lunging or shutting down · has intense prey drive in high-distraction settings · has tried group classes or prior training without lasting results · needs higher-frequency sessions to build momentum

Program placement is confirmed at your Training Consultation.
