Hi there! I’m Sara—your local adventure‑obsessed, positive‑reinforcement dog trainer based in Ferndale, WA.

With nearly a decade of hands‑on experience, I’ve helped dogs, and their humans build trust, confidence, and real‑world skills—whether it’s mastering loose‑leash walking on a busy trail or nailing that perfect send in Barn Hunt. I’m proud to hold my Karen Pryor Academy certification, and I’ve gone deep on behavior work through the Aggression in Dogs Master Course and Predation Substitution Training. I’m also in the process of earning my Control Unleashed Instructor credential and Grisha Stewart’s BAT certificate, because I believe in always growing as a trainer so I can offer you the very best.

At home, my husband and I share five acres (and a menagerie!) with Indie (mini-Aussie), Rocky (ACD), Beatrix (Staffy), Killua (Keeshond), and Shanks (Border Collie), plus six ferrets, two lorikeets, a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, frogs, 15 chickens, and six goats. My background in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences means I understand animal behavior from the ground up—and it’s that science‑driven approach we’ll use to solve your dog’s challenges.
